The latest rumors suggest that Marvel Comics Black Knight could join the ever-growing cast of Avengers: Endgame, while fans expect to see the return of the heroes who turned to dust like spider-man and the Black Panther it sounds like directors Joe and Anthony Russo will introduce new heroes for phase 4 and Beyond.
In April Marvel comic will release the whole host of true believers one-shots, reprints of classic comic issues not much of a surprise, they’ll all be focused upon characters who are important to Avengers: Endgame.
There are reprints dedicated to Ronan, Thanos, nebula, and Thor’s new weapon Stormbreaker. Two of these true believers comics would evidently spoil a little too much so Marvel’s mark the misclassified and promised to reveal the truth, later on, one reprint Avenger 71 is an issue with the story called Endgame.
The other is a reprint of Avengers 343 which kicked off a four-part story called the gatherer saga, both feature Marvel hero in a major role Dane Whitman aka the Black Knight, a classic Marvel hero Whitman inherits the ebony blade an enchanted sword steeped with a lust for blood, where other owners of the ebony blade were happy to satisfy its deadly desires, Whitman refuses to indulge it and instead fights as a hero and an Avenger.
This isn’t the first time Black Knights name has been mentioned lately, last year there was a hint that Black Knights introduction could have something to do with the quantum realm which is also playing out to be a major part in Avengers Endgame. Aside from this Scott Derrickson Doctor Strange was supposed to include a black knight Easter Egg in the past movies like Logan and Captain America Civil War have been timed to coincide with comic book events while last year’s summer event was unsurprisingly caught infinity Wars.
It’s all speculation at the moment and even if Black Knight does squeeze in an endgame cameo it’s unlikely he’ll get his all movie and base for the two classified reprints could contain Avengers endgame spoilers, which is more than likely why they have not been unveiled at this time, on the other hand, it could all just be some pretty clever marketing by Marvel Comics. What that thing said it certainly looks like Marvel Studios is getting ready to set the black knight up somewhere in the MCU.
