Good news! As rumored, the Resident Evil 3 Remake demo already has a release date. It will be next Thursday, March 19 when Resident Evil 3 Raccoon City Demo lands on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Although this is not the only news of the day, the open beta of its multiplayer mode, known as Resident Evil Resistance, will begin on March 27.
The Resident Evil 3 Remake demo features a part of the full game set to release on April 3, allowing the player to step into Jill Valentine’s shoes as she desperately tries to escape Raccoon City as chaos unstoppably descends. Capcom explained that the demo has a greater action than that of Resident Evil 2 Remake, although this does not mean that you have to use the weapons to a greater extent since it poses a serious risk to those infected.
For its part, the open beta of Resident Evil Resistance will provide the opportunity to try this cooperative multiplayer game set in the Resident Evil universe, although it is not canon for the saga. This time, the players become a survivor who is part of a team made up of four individuals trying to escape from a twisted experiment designed to push them to their limits. In the games, there is a fifth player, who controls Mastermind, who watches the survivors progress from the cameras while trying to thwart their escape by placing traps and creatures.
