Meghan King Edmonds reveals her son has “irreversible brain damage” in a blog post, the “RHOK”
alum went public with 13-month-old hart’s diagnosis.

The infant has “minor periventricular leukomalacia, “or pvl and is “at risk for being diagnosed with cerebral palsy”.

Meghan King Edmonds welcomed twin boys hart and Hayes last June and told fans she knew hart was different. she wrote,

“From the minute he was born”

“The nurses struggled to straighten his legs to measure his length,”

“He suckled hard, shallow and often until I bled, and he spits up black”.

The mom of three noticed hart facing other issues through his first year but was told he was “fine” by multiple doctors, undaunted, she “begged” for hart to get an MRI last month which ultimately led to his diagnosis. She wrote

“I do not see this diagnosis as anything but a gift,” “We were chosen to take on this special person”
“I truly feel as if we’ve doubled down and won the underdog hand. truly.”

Still, Meghan admitted hart’s diagnosis is “a little bit sad” and is “a heavy challenge” as a mother she wrote,

“Where do we go from here?” “This is where: one foot in front of the other”
